One of the many great features in District 187 is our Gun Modification System. This is a guide to help you understand the process to modify a weapon.

Before we start, make sure you own a weapon that can be modified. NOT EVERY GUN CAN BE MODIFIED. You can tell if a gun can be modified by looking at the icon. The each gun icon shows four modification slots that can be modified. The four slots are: Sight, Silencer, Flashlight and Decal. If there is an "X" in one of the areas, that means the gun cannot be modified that way. For instance: 

This gun can have 4 modifications.


This gun cannot be modified.


Once you have your modifiable gun, go to the Gun Modification window and follow the steps below.


Step 1: Select the weapon you'd like to modify. This requires double clicking one of the weapons in this area. If a weapon you own is not modifiable it will not appear here. If you see no weapons, that means you don't own any weapons that can be modified.

Step 2: Select the modification you'd like to buy. This area is separated by modification type (Sight, Silencer, Flashlight and Decal). Click the modification you'd like to purchase and then select "buy". NOTE: This doesn't actually EQUIP your modification. So be sure to move on to Step 3 or else your modification will not be usable in-game.

Step 3: Equip the modification you just bought. Like the purchase area above, this area is separated by modification type (Sight, Silencer, Flashlight and Decal). Double-click the modification you'd like to use to equip it on your weapon.
